The Arcteryx Arrakis 40 Backpack is a versatile weather resistant pack. Made with high tenacity nylon coated with urethane on both sides, making the Arrakis 100% waterproof. This air-permeable textile features a white pigmented inside layer that reflects light for better visibility into the pack bottom. Designed for multi-sport crossover (skiing, hiking, and climbing), this Arc'teryx Pack has a dedicated probe pocket and customizable Lash Ladder System with removable straps, which accommodates skis/boards, ropes, or camping gear.

The Arrakis 40 Backpack has convenient full-length side access zipper, large kangaroo pocket with drain hole for gear (shovel, skins, and outerwear), and a new dual-stage expandable/compressible RollTop closure. Support features include MonoFrame backpanel frame for integrated support; GridLock shoulder strap adjustment system for custom fit; radially formed shoulder straps; adjustable/removable sternum strap; Pivoting Load Transfer Disc allows hips to move freely, increasing stability; and a low profile lumbar pad hipbelt for easy ski lift or heli-ski loading.

Other features include laminated molded AC2 Fusion Points; top pocket with key clip; internal probe/tool pocket; top grab handle; hydration bladder sleeve and hose exit; hose clip; one Axio ice tool holder; and mini-security pocket for ID cards or Recco® system.
