ArcTeryx Khamsin 40 Backpack

The ArcTeryx Khamsin 40 Backpack is a generous mountaineering day-tripper that holds plenty of extra gear, and is also roomy enough for the organized minimalist to overnight on a peak. Highly modular for shaving weight, the tricked out Khamsin 40 pack can be stripped of many components, including the suspension. This allows you to suit this ArcTeryx pack to your alpine needs. A Hypalon reinforced front pocket expands out to hold gear you might want to keep out of the main compartment of your pack, such as crampons, a helmet, or various pieces of outerwear. This front pocket on the Khamsin can then compress flat, if the 35 liters of the interior compartment will be sufficient. The buckles of this ArcTeryx pack shed snow and are built to be workable while wearing gloves. Combining two modular ice axe keepers with two Axio ice tool holders, you can be sure that your ice tools will stay secure to the back of the Khamsin. For an alpine pack that provides comfortable support for heavy loads, but strips down for those times where lighter is better, check out the ArcTeryx Khamsin 40 Backpack.
