The ArcTeryx Beta SL Jacket Womens is a good light all round jacket for extended wear. Don't worry about a loose hood bothering the back of your neck, the Beta SL has a stowable hood that tucks away nicely into it's own zippered pocket. The Beta SL Jacket has two hand pockets with laminated zips. WaterTight front, pit and pocket zips keeps the water out (provided they're closed, of course!). The shoulders and elbows are reinforced with 3 layer Gore-Tex XCR making this a great shell to wear while carrying a pack. The rest of the ArcTeryx Beta SL Jacket Womens is made from Gore-Tex Paclite, offering waterproof and breathable protection from the elements, without packing on the ounces.
