The Beta AR is detailed with no lift-gusseted underarms with laminated pit-zips for ease of movement and venting options. The elbows and shoulders of the Beta AR are reinforced to prevent wear from your pack rubbing against the jacket. The Drop Hood of the ArcTeryx Beta AR is compatible with a helmet. One hand pull cords make adjusting this ArcTeryx jacket easy. Tiny Gore seam tape seals all those tiny cracks where water would normally get into a common rain jacket. WaterTight zippers on the front, pit, and pockets of the Beta AR protects the part of a rain jacket most vulnerable to water seepage, the zipper.
