The Mens ArcTeryx Alpha SL Pants is a Gore-Tex Paclite piece for those who want a waterproof breathable shell, but don't want to add on the ounces. Highly articulated knees and seat allow the Alpha SL Pants to have greater mobility without binding or lifting. The side zips of the Alpha SL are free of flaps, and stop short of the harness or hipbelt area so you can unzip the sides with your pack on. These side zips are also watertight, so you don't have to worry about water leaking into the Alpha SL pants through them. These ArcTeryx pants also have tapered legs to help minimize bulk. With the instep patches reinforced by 3 layer Gore-Tex, these pants are protected from increased abrasion.
