The Mountain Hardwear Bliss Backpack Womens is a pack that moves with you without a counter reaction. The Bliss Pack is built on the Exodus Crusider frame. The Cruiser frame is designed for traditional backpacking & trail oriented use and provides excellent back support for heavier loads.
Many traditional backpacks are constructed with pre-formed shoulder straps and waist belts designed only to fit a generic body type. The Mountain Hardwear Exodus Womens Fit-Lock harness adjusts to accommodate a wide range of bodies, specific to the female gender. Both the Fit-Lock shoulder yoke and waist belt of the Bliss pack can be custom-contoured to a user’s anatomy. Once adjusted, the shoulder yoke and waist belt lock and become integrated structural components which, because of the fit, distribute the load evenly over a large surface area. This eliminates pain-inducing pressure points and makes for a more comfortable carry. The custom adjustments lock in place, so there's no need to continually re-adjust the Bliss backpack. Moreover, even when locked, the Fit-Lock harness retains the ability to change torso length, letting you optimize pack geometry on the fly for climbing, descending or level travel.
But an excellent frame is useless without an excellent body on it. At over 4600 cubic inches, the Mountain Hardwear Bliss Backpack gives you all the room you need to carry your gear. The Kit Bag top pocket is removable, and easily converts to a shoulder bag. The fold top is designed to be used with this pocket removed, for when you want to go lighter. The large front pocket on the Bliss features water resistant zippers to keep your gear dry. A lower sleeping bag compartment is easily accessed by zipper, and has a removable internal divider for when you don't need it and want some extra room in your pack.
The Mountain Hardwear Bliss Backpack also offers you options for when you want to quench your thirst. Mesh side pockets plus lower wand pockets allow you to carry water bottles. Or, you can put a hydration bladder into the hydration sleeve and feed the tube through the right or left side hose ports depending on your preference. There's even dual Axe-S quick release ice axe toggles. And the three dimensional compression system of the Bliss tunes vertical and horizontal loads, making your carry more comfortable.
