A lightweight aircraft aluminum alloy shaft and stainless steel head and adze allow the Raven Pro to cut weight without sacrificing strength or performance. The pick itself has an aggressive curve and teeth designed for self arrest, and the adze is ideal for cutting foot holds into hard snow or cutting away dead ice or webbing. The head also has a hole large enough to hook a carabiner or attach a leash.
