Petzl Croll Rope Clamp

The Petzl Croll Rop Clamp makes for a simple and efficient system for ascending fixed lines when used with a chest strap and combined with a Petzl ascender. With a chrome-plated steel cam with angled teeth and a self-cleaning slot, the Croll securely grips rope, even in muddy or icy conditions. Thanks to the twisted position of the attachment hole, the Croll is always held flat against the stomach and properly aligned to the chest. To provide extra support, the upper rectangular hole can be used to allow the attachment of shoulder straps. A built in safety catch prevents the cam from opening too far, so the rope stays captured.
