The CRKT E-lock™ Black Combination Knife features a modified Wharncliffe blade with a very slight curve at the edge and a ceramic bead blast finish. The frame of the E-Lock Combo is mirror finished in black titanium nitride. Finally, contoured, injection molded black Zytel® scales with an engine turned pattern complete the effect. This is a compact precision work tool with great balance and grip, suitable for every day tasks. The visual effect of the E-Lock Black Combo is very different, but the work knife utility of this up-market version remains. This CRKT knife has the Elishewitz design with ramped thumb studs, five-point pivot screws, six drilled holes in the frame and back spacer, and a custom high-mount gray Teflon plated stainless steel clip, also with six drilled holes. The E-lock Black Combo uses a stainless steel rocker bar that crisply engages the blade for a rock-solid secure lock-up. It provides a strong spring in the rocker bar which prevents accidental release, but allows one hand closing when pressed firmly at just the right point.
