First of all, instead of a flat sheet with flat foam, the Escape Air Current Suspension System molded both its sheet and foam for an anatomical fit so it can flex with your body for a closer, tighter fit. Granite Gear also integrated air channels for constant air flow, so your back will be cooler and drier on those long treks. Made from 100D Ripstop and reinforced with 210D Cordura nylon, the Escape AC is built to be lightweight and bombproof so it can put up with the abuse that comes with the rigors of the trail. The packing system is designed as a top loader with a floating lid for easy access on the go. A large stash panel with stretch panels on the front of the backpack is large enough to pack the gear you can't fit in the main compartment and the LineLoc compression straps are designed to stabilize the load while cutting unnecessary weight. Granite Gear also designed a pocket for your rainfly for quick access when inclement weather rolls in.
