|
|
The Patagonia MLC Wheelie Carry-On: Roll up the ramp, past the crowd at the baggage carousel, and out the door with this slightly more structured version of Patagonia's utilitarian MLC (Maximum Legal Carry-on). The MLC Wheelie holds three to five days' worth of clothing in its main compartment is equipped with an adjustable mesh laundry pocket and a gusseted sleeve for dirty clothing. A padded internal zipper pocket carries electronics or toiletries, another protects a 15" or smaller laptop, while a third provides the luggage with easy access to travel docs and vital gear. The MLC Wheelie's retractable T-handle makes steering easy. Or, when the going gets bumpy, you can pick up your wheeled luggage and shoulder the load with hideaway backpack straps or carry the Wheelie as a bag by its top handle. Built from 100%-recycled 1,200-denier polyester with a polyurethane coating and DWR (durable water repellent) finish. The Patagonia MLC Wheelie:
Push it, pull it, hold it, strap it on your shoulders; whatever you do, just get rolling!

What can you do?
- See the light
switch to compact fluorescent bulbs that use 75% less energy than incandescent bulbs
- Run the trail, not your water
shut the water off while you brush your teeth, shave, soap up, shampoo, etc. You'll save hundreds of gallons each year and put money in the bank too!
- Wash it right - new low-flow and energy star washers and dryers use a fraction of the water and energy of their predecessors. Upgrade if you an afford it.
- Charge it
Never throw batteries in the garbage. Collect them and take them to a recycling center. Better yet, use solar energy or rechargeable whenever possible
- Color your paper green
Switch to 100% recycled paper. You'll save trees and reduce landfill waste
- Cloth is so soft
Use cloth shopping bags instead of plastic. Use rags and old clother instead of paper towels for cleaning.
- Recycle, Recycle, Recycle
Recycle newspapers and office paper. Recycle plastic and aluminum beverage containers. Recycle botttles too.
- Plant a tree or two or three...
If you have a yard, furnish it with trees and other drought tolerant plants. If you don't have a yeard, donate to Arbor day organizations to have trees planted in your name.
- Show your support
Support those companies and organizations that employ environmentally sensible practices
