When you put on the Gregory Lassen backpack, the shoulder straps automatically adjust to the unique contours of your neck and shoulders. That’s because Gregory Packs designed the shoulder harness to connect to the pack frame via rotating AutoCant attachment points. They move to mirror the slope of your shoulders and the width of your neck, which eliminates rubbing and hot spots caused by static harnesses.
The Gregory Lassen backpack features a sturdy Adjust-A-Cant waistbelt that attaches securely into the packs' framesheet. Gregory Packs Adjust-A-Cant belts can be placed at three different angles to mirror your hip-to-waist angle and provide optimum weight distribution and comfort while still supporting heavy loads. The Flo-Form II waistbelt padding and shoulder harness makes the Lassen as durable and comfortable as possible. The harnesses, waistbelts, and backpanels are molded from progressively denser foam layers. Gregory's idea is to put a soft layer against your body to provide cushion and denser layers behind it to provide form and support. You can access your Gregory lassen backpack from the top, side and bottom of the pack. The top pocket easily converts to a fanny pack when you need to carry some items at your trail stop or around town.
