The Hobie Twist and Seal Hatch is the ultimate hatch for your kayak. Made with a revolutionary locking system that makes accessing and locking down the hatch a breeze, the Hobie Twist and Seal Hatch has become the standard hatch on all Hobie Kayaks. Designed with a cork-screw-like mechanism for closure, a simple twist of the handle opens or closes the hatch. As the cork screw pulls down on the Twist and Seal hatch, you get a tight seal on the “O Ring” seal against the inner cylinder. This allows the hatch to seas around the edge of the cylinder without having to be held down against a flat surface to seal. This gives the Hobie Twist and Seal Hatch the ability to seal even if the lid is partially open or tipped. Plus the lids also hinge open, so you never lose the lid.
