The Mountain Hardwear Cima Mitts are a warm and versatile mitt for high elevation climbing and mountaineering. With a tough nylon shell and Conduit insert, the Cima Mitts provide waterproof and breathable protection from the elements and durable protection from the environment. ThermicMicro insulation at the back of the hand provides some warmth, while the Duraguard palm is rappel-tough. The flatlocked fleece liner uses Windstopper Glacier fleece on the back of the hand with a heavyweight stretch fleece on the palm. Plus, it's removable, so when you find yourself at lower, warmer elevations, you can still take advantage of the Cima's outer shell. Film at the palm and thumb of the liner increases the grip when worn solo, so it's still very functional. 4-way stretch softshell at the wrist adds breathability and a low-profile, lightweight feel to the Mountain Hardwear mitten. The extra long gauntlet cut of the Cima Mitt fits over you bulky jacket sleeves for uninterupted protection from the elements. With waterproof and breathable protection, durable construction, and warm insulation, the Mountain Hardwear Cima Mitts go well above 15,000 ft.
