The Kelty Light Year 3D Sleeping Bag is an easy-care synthetic version of Kelty's classic Light Year mummy bag.
The Light Year 3D is filled with Polarguard 3D, one of the lightest synthetic insulations available. Polarguard 3D will even keep you warm in wet conditons. The quilt through constuction of the Light Year is light and provides excellent insulation. If the temperature drops too much, handy snap loops allow this Kelty bag to be insterted and attached inside another bag as a liner, adding extra warmth. But if it gets too hot in the bag, a zippered footbox provides added ventilation and the ability to better regulate body temperature. The Kelty Light Year 3D has a shorter, two-way locking hip-length zipper that reduces the total bag weight.
