The Kelty Light Year Down 20° Sleeping Bag is a lightweight, three-season bag with a hip-length zipper and zippered foot vent that is designed for minimalists who don’t want to carry any more weight than is necessary. Weighing in at just over two pounds, the Light Year Down 20 is filled with 650-fill power goose down. With its box-baffle construction, the Light Year provides insulation throughout, eliminating cold spots. The side seams of the Light Year are at ground-level, preventing precious heat from escaping. Also helping to keep heat in and cold out is a draft tube that runs along the length of the zipper. Security loops allow you to secure this Kelty bag to your sleeping pad. If you require a bit more warmth, internal liner loops can secure your favorite Kelty liner to the interior of the Light Year. But if it gets too hot under the form-fitting hood, simply open up the zippered foot vent to let excess heat escape.
