Climashield® XP dries quickly and maintains warmth even in wet conditions, the insulation will not mat, clump, or fall apart, and even traps body heat while allowing moisture to dissipate. The Kelty Light Year XP's Highly resilient fibers compress easily and bounce back when in use, allowing a compact carry, and the ability to retain amazing loft in the backcountry. With its differential cut, the Light Year XP provides insulation throughout the bag, eliminating annoying cold spots. The side seams of the Light Year are at ground-level, preventing precious heat from escaping. Also helping to keep heat in and cold out is a draft tube that runs along the length of the zipper. Security loops allow you to secure this Kelty bag to your sleeping pad if needed. But if it gets too hot under the form fitting hood, simply open up the zippered foot vent to let excess heat escape.
