The Womens Marmot Exum Jacket is a full-function, light-weight Gore-Tex shell for alpinists going long and demanding light. The Exum is made from Gore-Tex Pro Shell, the latest evolution of this well known and well trusted waterproof and breathable fabric. The Pro Shell fabric is lighter than Gore-Tex XCR, but more durable and breathable. Designed to fit over a fleece or softshell jacket, the Exum Jacket still allows for a full range of motion in the arms so the jacket doesn't ride up. Reinforcement on the shoulders and elbows of the Exum Jacket make it perfect for wearing underneath a pack and venturing into rough terrain. An elastic drawcord hem on the Exum Jacket lets you cinch the jacket close to you to keep out drafts, and PitZips let you vent out excess heat. Pockets on the chest are positioned so they can be accessed while wearing a pack. An internal mesh pocket is the perfect place to store goggles, a map, or the keys to your car. With input from internationally experienced guides, Marmot has refined the Womens Exum Jacket to be the jacket you need on the mountain.
