The Mountain Hardwear Flip 25/40 Sleeping Bag is an amazingly versitile bag. The Flip is a rectagular bag rated 25 degrees on one side. But if the temperature gets too warm, simply "flip" it over and you have a 40 degree bag. Need a little extra room or want to get cozy with someone else? Then zip the Flip to another semi-rectangular bag, or unzip the bag and you have a quilt. An additional short zipper allows the topof the bag to roll down in warmer conditions. The off-set quilt construction of the Flip traps heat more efficiently and ensures uniform coverage of the insulation. Giving you the option to sleep one way during the hot summer nights, or sleep the other on the cooler spring and fall nights, the Mountain Hardwear Flip 25/40 Sleeping Bag is a true three season sleeping bag.
