Mountain Hardwear Dihedral Backpack

The Mountain Hardwear Dihedral Backpack is a compact and tough 40 liter pack that hauls enough gear for an overnight. The suspension system of the Dihedral is comprised of a HDPE framesheet with an alloy rod which is easily shaped to the user's back, a compression-molded foam back panel that balances comfort, ventilation and snow-shedding, and dual density shoulder straps and a hipbelt to distribute the load evenly for maximum comfort. But it's the ability to strip all of this down makes the Dihedral one of the most versatile packs around. Remove the frame sheet, lid, and the padded hipbelt and you have a sleeker, minimalist daypack. Super-durable HardWear tarp on the front panel of the Dihedral slides over rocks and sharp edges resisting damage. The compression straps of the Dihedral allow you to cinch the load closer to your back for a more comfortable carry, and they tuck away for a clean appearance. Heavy duty webbing ski straps can be used to clip on and accommodate a full load of tools, like ice axes, skis, and poles. When you're out in the cold, the last thing you want to do is take off your gloves to fumble with your pack buckles. That's why Mountain Hardwear has redesigned their buckles to make it easy to operate with gloves. Designed for day trips, climbing and mountaineering, the Mountain Hardwear Dihedral Backpack is a 'one-pack wonder' that hauls all your gear, but strips down for a lightened load for the push to the summit.
