The MSR SweetWater Filter Cartridge is a replacement filter for the MSR SweetWater MicroFilter. 0.2-micron Labyrinth Depth Filter won't crack if dropped or frozen, and it includes a layer of activated carbon to absorb iodine taste. The MSR Filter Cartridge meets the bacteria and protozoa portion of the USEPA's purifier standards, removing 99.9% of Cryptosporidium and Giardia and 99.9999% of bacteria. This cartridge is easily cleaned up to 100 times, until the black filter replacement safety indicator appears, which happens about every 1000 brush strokes. The MSR SweetWater Replacement Filter Cartridge filters up to 200 gallons.
