A hem cinchcord secures the Mountain Light parka around your hips keeping drafts and snow out. Pit zips allow your body heat to dissipate, increasing ventilation and keeping you cooler. This North Face shell offers a plethora of storage space. In addition to the external hand and forearm pockets, the Mountain Light also includes two internal pockets for holding items like a map or water bottle. Should you ever need a little extra warmth to go with your shell, you can zip a compatible fleece or down jacket into the Mountain Light Parka to create a single cold weather jacket.
