The Osprey Packs Kestrel 38 Bacpack is new for 2008. The Osprey Packs Kestrel 38 Backpack is part of the new Kestrel Series a multi-use technical backpack series that sports features for long treks or quick summits. The Kestrel 38 makes a great daypack or even an overnight pack for light packers and can fit up to 2,300 cu. in. of gear. The Kestrel 38 also includes some key features that add to your comfort. The Airscape Backpanel helps cool your back by letting hot air escape while still providing a foam padded backpanel. Adjustable padded shoulder straps and slotted hipbelt allow you to better adjust the pack to fit your back. Osprey includes many storage options including a zippered top pocket, mesh front pocket, side mesh pockets, and hipbelt pockets. The main compartment of the pack can be accessed from the top, and there is also zippered sleeping bag access at the bottom of the pack. The Osprey Kestrel 38 Backpack also features an integrated raincover, ice ax loops and bungee, and a stow-on-the-go trekking pole attachment. The Osprey Packs Kestrel 38 Backpack is a versatile daypack that can be used for a variety outdoor activities.
