The Osprey Packs Xenon 85 Backpack is new for 2008. The Osprey Xenon 85 is specifically designed for women and extended backpacking trips. The Xenon 85 can hold up to 5,100 cu. in. and weighs 5 lbs. 15 oz. Featuring a design that will comfortably fit a woman's body, the Xenon 85 uses custom molded hip belts, and different sized harnesses to accomplish an exemplary fit. An Airscape backpanel also adds comfort to the Xenon Backpack by cushioning your back and allowing hot air to escape.
Besides a design built for comfort, the Xenon 85 Backpack also offers an assortment of practical features. Osprey includes an interior pocket for an AquaSource ReCurve hydration pack that fits down your pack or horizontally on top of your gear, and the ReCurve hydration pack can also be turned into its own backpack with the sleeping pad straps. The Osprey Xenon 85 Backpack has lots of easy access storage compartments. Side zipper pockets are easily accessed while you are wearing the pack, a vertical zip provides access to the main compartment, and a zippered front pocket also provides quick access to a rain jacket or a bite to eat. The lid of the Xenon 85 not only stores gear but turns into its own lumbar pack for quick daytrips.
