The Outdoor Research Alpine Alibi Gloves are insulated, waterproof gloves for alpine ice. Made with a stretch soft shell construction, the Alpine Alibi Gloves feature a waterproof/breathable Gore-Tex insert and X-TraFit technology. Hands stay warm in these OR alpine gloves with EnduraLoft insulation on the back of hand and thumb; and heat pack pockets on the gauntlet and back of hand can offer even more warmth. The Alibi's leather palm wraps around the thumb and index finger for abrasion resistance and a solid grip on belay and rappel. Direct injection padding on the finger knuckles provides needed protection and the Alpine Alibi stays secure with a thermo-formed neoprene secure wrist cinch and articulating wrist harness. Other features include DuoCinch™ gauntlet closure, Removable Idiot Cord, and bite tab for easy opening and closing. The Outdoor Research Alpine Alibi Gloves are ideal for long alpine ice ascents.
