The Tamarack is made waterproof thanks to Marmot MemBrain, a waterproof/breathable fabric, as well as an Enduro DWR finish. Underarm PitZips extend into the body for aggressive venting. The shoulders and elbows of the Tamarack are reinforced with heavier fabric for protection in high abrasion areas.
The Marmot Tamarack Jacket features an inside water bottle cargo pocket and zip stash pocket that stows anything from your water bottle, climbing skins to securing small items. And a sleeve stash pocket fits a set of keys or a credit card. The gripper elastic powder skirt of the Tamarack keeps out the snow, while an elastic draw cord waist and hem allows for adjustability in serious weather. If the temperature ever drops from mild to downright chilly, the Tamarack Jacket is Zippin compatible, so you can zip in a fleece jacket for extra warmth.
