This fabric also has a smooth jersey face and tights-style fit that slides easily under layers, making the Piton Bottoms a great baselayer. To help seal in warmth and seal out weather, these Patagonia bottoms feature nylon elastic cuffs and a hem seal. Should too much warmth get trapped inside the Piton, open up the front zip to vent out excess heat. The elasticized front waistband has a hidden internal key pocket with fabric keeper loop.
