The women's Patagonia Alpine Wind Jacket is a super lightweight, lined windshirt for alpine pursuits; designed for use as a layering piece or an outer layer. On high ridges, steep ice and anything alpine, Patagonia's new Alpine Wind Jacket serves as a true "best of all worlds" staple. The jacket excels as a stand-alone shell for blustery rock climbs, cool-weather trail runs and high-output ski tours. And then, when conditions have you ice and alpine climbing, the Alpine Wind will functions as a lightly insulated windshirt, then double as a frictionless mid-layer when it's time to bundle up and tie-in. The polyester ripstop shell, with Deluge DWR (durable water repellent) treatment, sheds snow and blocks wind, while the smooth, lightly brushed hanging mesh liner wicks moisture, dries fast and doesn't bind to your baselayers. The Wind Jacket has superlight stretch-woven underarm panels that enhance breathability and allow for unimpaired arm motion. Two hand pockets close with zippers. The jacket also has: drawcord hem, elastic cuffs, a heat-transfer reflective logo and regular coil, and a center-front zipper with DWR finish. The Womens Patagonia Alpine Wind Jacket is recyclable through the Common Threads Recycling Program.
