Integrated with the new Core rechargeable battery system, the Petzl Tikka XP² CORE Headlamp takes the classic Tikka XP headlamp and improves upon it in nearly every way. The Tikka XP² integrates two different light sources into one powerful headlamp. One large white LED provides a powerful light that cuts through the darkness. A smaller red LED light provides spare lighting to preserve night vision. Combined, these two LEDs have five modes providing the ultimate in versatility. What sets the Tikka XP² apart from other headlamps is it's wide angle lens that can be adjusted to give the user a long distance focalized beam or a flood beam for proximity lighting. On the maximum setting, the white LED of the Tikka XP² delivers 60 lumens of light and lets you see over a distance of 60 meters! The economic mode optimizes the battery life and increases the burn-time to up to 160 hours. The third mode turns the Tikka XP² into a strobe to keep you visible to others. The red LED also features both continuous and strobe modes, the latter works exceptionally well for safety situations. Each mode can be accessed with an electronic push-button switch, which keeps the Tikka XP² from accidentally turning itself on during storage.
