The Sierra Designs Hyperlight AST is one of their most-popular Ultralight tents. The Hyperlight AST is spacious, light and extremely sturdy utilizing Sierra Design's patented Jake's Corner and Clip Locs. Jake's Corner is a fully-removable structural element that strengthens and supports the long pole arches, eliminating rotation of these poles at their tips and increasing tent strengh by 40%. Clip Locs dynamically lock the point of intersection between poles, increasing tent rigidity 60% without adding weight. The geometry of the tent allows for more livable space. The Sierra Designs Hyperlight AST is updated for 2005 with the SuperSeal floor.
