The Alpine Bivy is made of Gore-Tex Respiration Positive+ fabric that offers complete protection from rain and snow storms without collecting interior condensation. The overlapped zipper opening allows you to breathe freely without letting weather in. A single pole can be used to create overhead space, or it can be left at the trailhead. No-see-um netting at the opening of the Alpine Bivy lets air in, and keeps everything else out. Sleeping pad straps let you strap in a sleeping pad for comfort, and will even accept thicker sleeping pads like OR's DownMat 7.
