The creative utilization of poles in the Knees Pole System helps the two-person Aura maximize internal living space available without adding weight to the design. The DAC NSL poles featured in the Aura 2 gives this Marmot tent an outstanding strength to weight ratio. Once the rainfly is added, the Aura 2 has a roomy vestibule for storing your boots and gear in wet weather. With a catenary cut floor, you won't have to worry about water seeping through the floor of the Aura at night. The seams are lifted off the ground and are fully taped. When you need to save some pack weight, use the fly of the Aura 2 by itself with the optional and sold separately ground sheet to make this Marmot tent an even lighterweight, sturdy shelter.
