A full coverage fly and 70D nylon canopy protects the camper from snow, wind, spindrift and rain. With a fully taped fly, taped perimeter seam, welded corners and welded guy clip anchors, this Mountain Hardwear tent is guaranteed to be watertight. An Atlas 7001 frame and 4 season pole geometry provides the Taurine 2 with strength in the stormiest of weather. Mesh covered vents allow for air to circulate while preventing spindrift from entering, but can be opened when you find yourself in warmer conditions. Or for really warm weather, you can leave the body of the Taurine 2 at home and just pitch the tent with it's fly and sold separately Pitch Light footprint for a lighter shelter.
