The Switchbakc GTX has a nubuck upper that offers slightly more protection than the Vasque Breeze, but both use the Vibram Contact bottom package which protects your feet from rough terrain. The Vasque Switchback GTX is the right hiking boot for both wet and dry conditions and will keep your foot comfortable for miles and miles.
