The Yakima 1A HighRise Tower is the answer to your rack system needs. The HighRise is designed for extra lift off of your cars rooftop to help with the prevention of any unwanted scratches. That extra clearance is also excellent for installing onto factory racks with cars that have dome roof tops. A solid tower with more then 3.5" of height over the standard towers, it stands about 10-3/4" from bottom of tower to top of the crossbar. The 1A HighRise is a great first step in constructing your ultimate car rack system.
