The Wigwam Merino/Silk Hiker is a plush hiker sock that combines the insulation of Merino Wool, the strength of silk and the softness of these two natural fibers. Merino Wool has all the characteristics of classic wool, such as its insulation and wicking properties, but is softer and does not itch. Silk is very smooth and soft with a high tensile strength, and acts as a natrual thermal retainer that does not conduct heat. An elasticized arch, ultra smooth lin-toe closure and "Y" heel pocket make the the Wigwam Merino/Silk Hiker amazingly tough, durable and one of the most comfortable hiking socks available on the market today..
